First and foremost, this is dedicated to mufurc, a friend of mine, who is a big Roy fan, and also the one who translates FMA for us from week to week, even if we become persistent and don't want to leave her studying

Khm, the usual drill
Made in: sketch on paper, outline and effects in Photoshop, colouring in Painter 8
Done in: lemme see, 1 day outline, 1 and a half day for colouring, this afternoon for the background and effect... Okay, I settle for 3 days Still too long, compared to how other artists can do a better job in one or two days.
Number of times I wanted to jump out on the window: quite a few times when I was still experimenting with the Bezier-curves, but the colouring part was a great fun Especially the pants and the hair.

Yup Painter 8, I just love it. Got it a few days ago, and it's absolutely fantastic I once tried it out back when I only had a mouse and got lost in the mediums it offered and didn't have a clue how it worked (I still don't know 90% of the tools' purpose ), but now it was better
All in all, I'm content with the outcome, so does the Roy-kitty who bugged me to do it *scratches kitty's ears*

I wonder if I should do a whole series about the cast, but I fear for my eyes and my free time Armstrong would sparkle out of my monitor, and sparkles kill me I'm currently wondering about a tarot card deck, if I can come up with a nice frame desing, I might do it

Oh, the words aren't mine either. It's not really readable, so I'll put down the whole sentence:

To be honest, I didn't have any song that could have been associated with Mustang Taisa, so I fired up the Google and typed in "flame lyrics", and choose a matching line from a song.
It was ~Eyra Gail - The Flame~. It sorta... well... Roy-ish
